Before leaving her teens she started working as a professional portraitist as well as an actor appearing in DNA Theatre's extremely experimental works (she was Ophelia in an 8-hour version of Hamlet) as well as the infamous Centre Stage production of Spring Awakening in Toronto. Vancouver Folk Music Festival

From July 18th through 20th the Jericho Beach Park from Vancouver, Canada, has held the 27th annual Vancouver Folk Music Festival and Welldone Publishers would like to describe the meaning of the festival to all you: The Vancouver Folk Music Festival was established in mid-seventies by the artistic director of the Winnipeg Folk Festival, Mitch Podolak and since then this global party includes exciting stage sets by different singers and bands.

Whistler's World Ski & Snowboard Festival

Today 20th April is ending the Whistler's World Ski & Snowboard Festival held from Whistler, British Columbia (Canada) since 11th April.

The Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains have witnessed the AFP World Championship, with its Slopestyle & Big Air performs, and the Shred Show; The Village Common has host the Whistler Dogfest and the Festival will end today with the Super Brawl Sunday: Invitational Roller Derby Bout held from the Whistler Conference Centre.
