After attending UCLA and Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, she received her M.F.A. in 2008 from Claremont Graduate University. Recent Solo exhibitions include; Toomey-Tourell in San Francisco, CAMAC, Marnay-sur-Seine in France, Brunnhofer Gallerie in Austria, Cao Shan Dong Men Art Museum, Yangmingshan in Taiwan – The East / Gate Museum and The Licence Gallery in Taipei, Taiwan, Paint House in Tainan, Taiwan, The 18^th Street Arts Center in Santa Monica, The Garboushian Gallery, Beverly Hills, Conflux City festival in New York City, and The Kim Light/LIGHTBOX Gallery. Selected group shows include; “Pretty Vacant,”Westwood, Los Angeles, FOCA-Fellows of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, The Torrance Art Museum, The Cerritos College Art Gallery, Los Angeles, Toomey-Tourell, San Francisco, MBA Museum, Dallas, Texas, Sam Francais Gallery, Santa Monica, and several MasAttack exhibitions. Yvette Gellis has exhibited extensively nationally and abroad, and is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Foundation Tenot and UNESCO award in 2014. She recently completed an artist residency at CAMAC Marnay-sur-Seine, France. Upcoming solo exhibitions include Villenaux-La-Grande, France,, Kuntshalle Vienna and Brunnhofer Gallery in Linz, Austria. Her work is included in many private and public collections. (source)

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival

All this stunning plan is being showcased from the Inland Empire's Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert.
