Tal R
 Born in Israel, based in Copenhagen

 (1967) 

Tal R studied at Billedskolen, Copenhagen, 1986–1988 and at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, 1994–2000. Tal R's painting style is described as "kolbojnik", which means "left-overs", a Hebrew word for "jack-of-all-trades. He has shown work in exhibitions including Bicycle Thieves at Beret International Gallery in Chicago, House of Prince at Douglas Hyde Gallery in Dublin, The Gallery Show at the Royal Academy of Art in London and Ars Fennica at Henna and Pertti Niemisto Art Foundation in Helsinki. He is represented by Victoria Miro Gallery in London, Cheim & Read in New York and Contemporary Fine Arts in Berlin. Tal R currently teaches at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. (source)

Paula Rego
Born 26 January 1935, is a Portuguese visual artist who is particularly well known for her paintings and prints based on storybooks.

Rego’s style has evolved from abstract towards representational, and she has favoured pastels over oils for much of her career. Her work often reflects feminism, coloured by folk-themes from her native Portugal. Rego studied at the Slade School of Fine Art and was an exhibiting member of the London Group with David Hockney and Frank Auerbach. French duo composed by Lucie Thomas, born in the Vosges in 1987, and Thibault Zimmermann, born in Paris in 1986. 

They studied graphic design (design, publishing, advertising) during three years. They decided to focus on installations using handcrafted objects made out of tangible materials such as paper, wood, thread, etc... rolling away from computer design. Anchored in craftsmanship, they create all the elements composing their installations by hand, from drawing to cutting and assembling. Their favorite material is the paper they’re cutting, folding and gluing to give rise to intricate and colorful sculptures. Paper inspires them for its versatility, infinite range of colors and unique textures. The flat sheets turned into volume are giving an installation the poetry of ephemeral material. Zim&Zou’s strength is to be a complementary and polyvalent duo. (source)
