Christina Georgiou was born in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1983.
She is a visual and performance artist, curator, educator, researcher and writer. She graduated with a Bachelor degree in Fine Art from Kingston University London in the United Kingdom in 2007 and a Masters degree in Live Art and Performance Studies from the Theatre Academy in Helsinki in 2011. She has presented her work in an international level and she has realized solo and group exhibitions, educational programs, talks and workshops at international biennials, exhibitions, galleries, museums, institutions and festivals in Cyprus, Greece, UK, Italy, Germany, Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, The Netherland, Switzerland, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Mexico and Chile.
